Well, no one seems to read this. I put a counter on the site to see how many hits the blog has. As of this posting, it has 12. They're all mine. But what the heck. I'll post this on the off-chance that someone reads wants to know the status of Episode 3 and looks here. I'm going to start posting pictures of the sets to see if anyone bothers to come here to look at them.
Anyway, Episode 3 has been shot and I've started editing. I'm just waiting on some lines because of a small microphone problem, and they should come in sometime this week. Then I can get back to editing and hopefully upload it this weekend. It's a 3-day weekend thanks to Memorial Day, so I should be able to finish it.

Episode 3
Episode 3's script was finished and sent out to the actors over the weekend. I started shooting but didn't get very far. Hey, it was Mother's Day. Anyway, I'll shoot more this weekend, hopefully finish by Sunday, and then I'll just have to wait for the rest of the lines to come in before I can start editing. Don't touch the dial; Episode 3 will be here in a couple weeks.

Update 5/8
Well, it's finally Saturday. That means I can do a lot more work on TAC. I used to have scripts written up to Episode 4, but then some things changed. Namely, I saw some apartments that looked really nice and decided to make them in the game for the characters to live in. The only problem is that Episode 2 was already filmed and I really didn't want to go back and shoot everything in a different apartment. So Brett and Marty are moving in this next episode, which means I need to write a new script for Episode 3.
I also need a female voice actor for this episode. The character, Katie Dalton, is about the same age as the guys and can be energetic and excitable at times. Honestly, I'm not the greatest at describing people. Picture your typical 20-ish woman. She goes out, has fun, and now has to deal with these two introverts and make them see that there's a huge world out there. If anyone's interested, email me at sanakira (at) gmail (dot) com. Sorry you can't just copy and paste it, but I actually haven't received any spam mail in a while and I'd like to keep it that way.
And that's all for this exciting update. Episode 4's script is safe, so after this episode I can start right in on it. As for when Episode 3 will be done, that's a different story. Hopefully I can finish the script and start filming today. Then it might take a few weeks. Keep checking back, though. I'll try to update a few times each week. Heck, maybe I'll even post about random things that happen to me just so you know I'm still alive.

Welcome!
Welcome to the new blog for the Sims 2 machinima series, Two's A Crowd. Because it's kind of a long title (but mainly because I'm too lazy to type the whole thing every time), I just call it TAC.
If you haven't seen it before, you can go watch Episode 1 and Episode 2 on YouTube. Here's a quick explanation of the series:
Brett and Marty are two friends who aren't the most socially inclined. Brett is a film editor who wants to get out more but Marty, a scientist, prefers to stay inside and tinker with his various projects. Currently he's working on a way to freeze time. And neither guy really has any other friends. So they're stuck together. TAC will follow them around as they deal with different problems, from noisy neighbors to girls.
